It took me nearly 10 months to complete the illustrations, and it was a tremendous learning experience. For anyone out there looking to illustrate children's books I have to say that it is so much fun, but it is an incredible amount of work and requires a lot of planning and discipline (I also developed a caffeine addiction during the process). However, it is so rewarding to take on a big project and see it to the finish.

It'll be great to see the finished book, I wondered what had happened to the project after seeing the amazing work you posted last summer. It looks like a great marriage of style and subject and it would be good to see your treatment of other fairytales in the future.
