Sketchbook Pages

These are several pages from one of my sketchbooks. I have been carrying two books with me lately. One of the sketchbooks is dedicated to developing ideas for future paintings. I have been working on this book for about six months now and have really enjoyed taking my time and giving the pages a lot of care. I'm planning on sharing the pages of this book when the entire sketchbook and the paintings are complete. In the meantime, here are some really quick sketches I did last week . This sketchbook is my tiny "spy " sketchbook, which is used to draw random strangers on the 6 train and Metro North Railroad. I really like having separate sketchbooks; One dedicated to making quick disposable drawings focused purely on observation, and another to organize my ideas and artistic process.
